Frequently Asked Questions
For Seller
Q1: What types of businesses do you work with?
A: We primarily work with restaurants, cafés, bars, and other hospitality venues. Whether you’re closing a small independent location or a multi-unit operation, we can help.
Q2. What exactly do you sell in the auction?
A: We sell a wide range of hospitality equipment — from kitchen appliances and furniture to POS systems, décor and all about. If requested, we can also facilitate the sale of the property itself through our licensed brokerage team.
Q3. How long does the auction process take?
A: Most auctions are completed within 3–14 days from the time of cataloging to sale day. Our team works efficiently to minimize disruption and maximize value.
Q4. Do I need to prepare the equipment before the auction?
A: We handle inventory, photography, and setup. You only need to ensure we have access to the premises and that utilities (if relevant) are functioning for inspection.
Q5. How much does it cost?
A: We sell a wide range of hospitality equipment — from kitchen appliances and furniture to POS systems, décor and all about. If requested, we can also facilitate the sale of the property itself through our licensed brokerage team.
Q6. Can you also help sell the property along with the equipment?
A: Yes. In addition to auctioning equipment, we’re licensed to handle commercial real estate sales. If you're looking to sell the property as part of your business closure, we can coordinate both processes to help you maximize overall value with minimal stress.
For Buyer
Q1: Can anyone attend your auctions?
A: Yes. All of our auctions are open to the public, including individuals, small businesses, and industry professionals.
Q2. How do I know the equipment works?
A: All items are sold “as is, where is,” but we do our best to provide clear photos and honest descriptions. You’re welcome to inspect items on-site prior to auction start.
Q3. How do I pay for purchases?
A: Successful bidders are required to pay in full by the pick up items (usually same-day). We accept cash, e-transfer or business cheques.
Q4: Do you offer delivery or shipping?
A: Buyers are responsible for pickup, but we can recommend trusted movers or equipment handlers if needed.
Q5: Can I be notified of future auctions?
A: Absolutely. Join our mailing list and you’ll receive alerts for upcoming auctions, featured equipment, and event details.
Q6: Are commercial properties available through your team?
A: Yes. We're licensed to handle commercial real estate sales and can assist buyers interested in hospitality spaces.
